We specialize in the production of parts meeting the needs of various industries. Our die-cuts are used for securing valuable cargoes during transport, careful packaging of products or reliable bonding of larger structure elements. Initially, we were interested only in glass materials, however, over the years we have managed to develop our technology so much that now we are able to produce any part to protect any type of material.
We make our designs keeping our customers’ convenience in mind, that is why we approach every order individually, first getting to know the needs and expectations of the future buyer. This gives us an advantage on the converting market, which we use to constantly improve the creative and production processes. All this to provide our customers with the highest quality and professional service at every stage of order fulfilment.
Mission and Vision Statements
Our mission is to provide industry with modern technological solutions in the field of converting. We accomplish it based on partner relations with our business partners, through continuous development of our employee potential and production capacities.
Thus, we persistently strive to gain the status of a leader on the Polish converting market and one of the leading players on the European markets. For years, we have been consistently maintaining our leading position in the field of glass industry products, however, we are open to emerging business opportunities resulting from the needs of entrepreneurs operating in a great number of other industries. As part of our policy, we also care for the company’s image as an expert in the field of niche converting and the design of innovative personalized solutions for a specific buyer.
Glass Service establishment
We start our operations under Glass Service name as a manufacturer of cork pads used for glass transportation. The Company operates on premises with an area not exceeding 180 m2. During the first year of our operation, we mainly refine the technology, look for the right suppliers and convince glazed units producers to use our products.
ISO 9001 Certification
The first important certificate is awarded to our Company. Since our Company establishment we have put emphasis on quality management, and it was not easy for a young and small team to implement ISO – although it was extremely important from the point of view of our Company’s strategy which assumed that our customers would be leading and brand glass manufacturers.
Foreign customers
We gain our customers on the European Union markets opening for Poland. The first countries using our products are: Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic and Lithuania.
New machines
We invest in equipment enabling us to introduce a new range of products into our portfolio. This opens the gates to the largest customers and enables us to effectively compete with our greatest competitors
Relocation and new investments
We move to a new location, thus increasing our production and storage area to approx. 800 m2. We purchase new machines – this time they are converting machines and that is why we succeed in gaining our first foreign customers interested in converting services.
Glass Service a winner of Gazela Biznesu ranking
Our turnover reaches PLN 10 million, and for the first time we are awarded the Gazela Biznesu title. But there is more: Bisnode company awards us with a golden certificate of business credibility. As it turns out later – we will receive both these certificates every year!
Greater area
We purchase additional production and storage rooms for our business activities, therefore, we already occupy 2500 m2. This year we also start the production of wooden packaging for the glass market in Chmielów.
Forbes Diamonds
Time for another distinction! Glass Service is honoured with the Forbes Diamonds award. Such a prestigious award motivates us to continue our development and expand the spectrum of our business. For this purpose we purchase a EU-funded modern laminating and precision die cutting line. Consequently, we increase our competitiveness on the Polish market.
Our own laboratory
We are honoured with the Forbes Diamonds award for the second time. It is a good opportunity for another investment: the Company constructs its own laboratory, which will enable us to test new products and develop our own technologies.
Run of good luck
We are honoured with the Forbes Diamonds award for the third year in a row. Our products are more and more appreciated by both domestic and foreign producers, which is an excellent prognosis for the future
Export development
We implement our export development plan, partly thanks to the EU funds. We quickly manage to increase the share of export in sales to the level above 30%.
Not only glass
Glass Service wins the trust of entrepreneurs in a variety of industries including automotive, which in turn requires even higher production standards. Therefore, we implement ISO/TS16949 automotive quality management system.
Time for changes!
We implement IATF automotive quality management system. We also plan our further development in respect of many other sectors. Glass has not been our only speciality for a long time – we want to communicate this to our potential new customers, partners and competitors. Therefore, we come up with an idea to change the name of the company and its visual identification. Preparations for rebranding are at full steam.
